Ah, Jared's Java. Pleasant taste. Slight Monsterism.

Welcome to the home of my mind, where I brew my intellectual and spiritual joe. Sit back and let me pour you a cup or two. I promise not to cut you off, even after you get the caffeine jitters.

Missionaries: Get Some!

**THIS POST WILL REMAIN AT THE TOP AT LEAST UNTIL FEB. 9. READ IT, THEN SCROLL DOWN FOR MY NEW STUFF**

***UPDATE***
Benny and Niki now have one working vehicle. The Lord has been faithful in that. They still need committed monthly supporters to step in where they have fallen short in support. They need to replace a supporter who dropped out without notice who provided them with $1000 a month in support. I know it looks intimidating, but with many hands chipping in at $10, $25, $50, $75, or even $100 (should you happen to feel so moved to commit at that level), it can be done easily. Please take the first step. Be the first snowflake of the avalanche. You can go to http://www.sevensonline.org/howtohelpnowells.html to learn where to send a check and letter telling them you're joining their team. They also need your prayers, as intercession of faithful saints is the foundation of strength sustaining their ministry. Check out their website (in the sidebar) and blog @ http://www.sevensonline.org/sevensblog.html

Monday
I want to ask for prayer for the missionaries Jen and I own. Benny and Niki Nowell (pronounced "now-ell") are invovled in ministry to the "throw-aways" of society in Denver. Street kids, run-aways and druggies are who they work to care for on a daily basis. Check out their website: http://sevensonline.org/theministry.html. Well, when I talked to them last Friday, I was informed that they have re-gained true redneck status. That is, they have two vehicles in their front yard that don't work. They have also fallen severely short on their support for last month, and it looks like they are going to have to go raise more. Please pray that God would send resources and people to help them right now. They have a ministry to run and three kids ages seven and below that they need to run around. They're really good, down to earth people, and what they are doing is so needed. If you have some uncommitted money in your monthly budget for giving, they deserve your strong consideration.

If only the cars were the only things that made us rednecks! ;) As I said in the comments of Monday's post, one car is now fixed, and Benny is going to work on the van today.

Thank you so much for pointing people to our needs. You're a good friend Jared! We believe God can provide through miraculous means, but often He chooses to provide through his other children. We have been humbled many times since beginning this ministry and we'll continue to grow in Faith as we face the challenges and triumphs coming or way. Thank you for being a part of it all!
